As part of the package, you also receive a free ticket to ride the Bournemouth wheel, just 2 mins walk from the hotel. So before or after enjoying a hearty meal, you can hop on the wheel for a spectacular view of air display, Bournemouth and the coast.
In the air - The display programme for 2024 has yet to be finalised and will be announced over the coming weeks. The confirmed line-up so far include the spectacular RAF Typhoon, The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Super Pitts Muscle Bi-Plane.
On land - Terrific traders, Armed Forces villages, displays, performances, funfairs, plenty to keep everyone entertained!

Due to local road closures and limited hotel resident capacity, there will be no onsite parking available at the hotel during the Air Show Festival. Public car parks are available at BIC (Bournemouth International Centre) across the road from our hotel. Alternatively, there are two other car parks on Bath Road, which are within a short walking distance.

I attended The Hermitage Airshow Brunch on Saturday 2nd September with a group of friends - a return visit, following on from last year’s Airshow Brunch at The Hermitage, as we had such a lovely time last year. This year the Brunch was even more amazing, delicious and plentiful everything you could want to eat - cooked breakfast, buffet breakfast of sliced meats, cheeses, breads, pastries and fruit. Cakes. Unlimited tea and coffee, fruit juices. The brunch area was beautifully decorated with red, white and blue and the food was also beautifully displayed. There was a very good pianist who played classical music while we ate, which we really enjoyed.
Price of the brunch package included a trip on The Wheel, which is situated on the Promenade just infront of the hotel.
After eating brunch, we sat on the Hotel terrace all afternoon in the sun with drinks (all reasonably priced) to watch the airshow. We had great views and such a lovely day. We actually stayed from 12 noon until 6.30 pm, as we were enjoying the day so much.
Lovely hotel staff who were very friendly, helpful and attentive. After the Brunch had finished, one of the members of staff asked if she could join the pianist and sing to us, which we thoroughly enjoyed and it made us feel special that she wanted to do that for us.
We will return without a doubt. Such a memorable day and we are looking forward to trying the Sunday roast and afternoon tea at some point.

We booked for the brunch over the air show going on in Bournemouth as we wanted to be sure of seats & to be in somewhere dry etc because of the unpredictable British weather.
We parked for free with no problem & were shown to our table just after 11am. Decorations were fabulous and in theme for our brunch. The hotel is clean & spacious including the toilets.
Staff from start to finish were amazing, my elderly Mum has trouble walking & helped her without even being asked which was much appreciated. They had a pianist playing who was fantastic and did all genres of music, so talented!
Now the food, it was buffet style & absolutely something for everyone, the granola with fresh berries was delightful & sweet & savoury options with plenty of everything, tea, coffee & fruit juice was included in the £22 per person we paid & the entire morning was worth every penny. Thank you to everyone for a fabulous time, we can’t wait to come back!
